BSM Exhaust Systems was established in 1979 as a metal processing company. After a few years the company began manufacturing exhaust systems for motorcycles. Since 1984 BSM emerged as a leading exhaust manufacturer in the motorcycle sector. BSM develops and manufactures its products at the new factory in Zelhem. Outstanding work is ensured by a team of highly-trained specialists and the latest technology such as CAD-CAM systems, hightech testing facilities, etc...

BSM Exhaust Systems has a Eurocertificate and therefore meets all European legislation. This means that the systems can be sold without difficulty throughout the entire European Community. In order to be able to test the exhaust systems under extreme circumstances, BSM is extremely involved in the sport of road racing, particularly in the Superbike class. This class is derived from the sportive road motorcycles.

In addition to manufacturing motorcycle exhaust pipes, BSM also designs and manufactures customized exhaust pipes for automobiles, such as old-timers, race and rally cars and replicas. Dutch motorcycle importers also turn to BSM if they encounter difficulties gaining approval for motorcycles imported from countries such as the U.S.A.. BSM has solutions for various types of motorcycles to make them permissable.
